I love the cut-out art like this that has depth to it. The first time I saw this type of
style was on the
Little Hut blog, I've been wanting to try this myself. Well, I found this farm cut-out painting
tutorial by Arounna Khounnoraj. A craft project great for kids and to preserve your child's art work in style.
You'll need to make a line drawing or find a line drawing, possibly out of a coloring book, that has depth to it. Let them paint away or color away, then cut out the foreground, background and the middle. Finally, you'll need to cut out some foam core to secure the different pieces you've cut out to make them stand out. Check out the
tutorial.
