Gocco
What a cool find! The last few posts including this one seems to be from a Japanese art, well I guess they are good at crafts!. This little diy printer, Gocco, was invented in the 1970's by a Japanese inventor. It's a small compact printer that combines screen printing and rubber-stamping. What a cool way to make small paintings, invitations, name tags, etc...I want to get one of these and try it out! I've always wanted to try screen printing but didn't want to hassle with all the equipment needed and haven't really had a space that's well ventilated. Unfortunately they don't make these anymore, but some art supply stores like Pearl may still have some available! I'm not sure how much they are. There is a whole site dedicated to saving the Gocco, check it out!Labels: compact, diy, gocco, japanese, printing, rubber stamping, screenprinting
